A Very Merry Christmas

We had such a fun Christmas!  Our Christmas actually started last Saturday when we got together with my brothers and sisters for Pizza, BYU football, and oh so much dessert.  I really love the times I get to spend with my siblings and their families...it's so fun to let the kids all run around together and to make sarcastic jokes and eat too much.

Of course, part of the reason I'm starting this blog is that I'm hoping it will remind me to actually start using our camera! The only time we actually pulled it out this Christmas was during present opening Christmas morning.

Anyway, the rest of our holiday celebration continued on Wednesday night where we had a fantastic Christmas Eve dinner with part of Alex's family at his dad's house. Emily walked in to find a stocking filled for her topped off with a Santa balloon on a stick which she grabbed and ran to tell me, "This is what I've ALWAYS wanted!!" Awesome food, beautiful decorations, and amazing company with family...what more can you ask for? We got more after all when after we opened presents just the 3 of us we went to Alex's sister's house (Tina) for more good company and a fabulous Christmas brunch made by our two favorite Alton Brown followers, Alex and Doug! :) Later that afternoon when we finally managed to get out of our pajamas we headed up to Cypress where Alex's aunt lives and, you guessed it, had another great Christmas dinner and played a couple of games.

Well, that about sums up our Christmas celebrations. We could not have asked for a better 1st Christmas together! How lucky are we that we got to spend the holiday with so many different family members that we love?!
